A few words of greeting from the Executive Director of Kanagawa Education Center.

The mission and basic principles of Kanagawa Education Center are to meet expectations of the people in Kanagawa by ensuring quality education which promotes individuality, ability to learn, big heartedness, good socialization and creativity for children who "learn from the past, look to the future, and live in the present."
　To accomplish this mission, we are doing three things: (I) to provide support and seminars for inservice teachers who try hard to brush up on their personality and teaching ability, (II) to conduct survey and research, disseminate information, and provide educational consulting, and (III) to conduct several other seminars and events that are open to the public.
　In conducting these projects, we at Curriculum Center (Zengyo Office) and Educational Counseling Center (Kameino Office), while in cooperation with other educational organizations, aspire to contribute to the enhancement of education in Kanagawa.
　I hope, therefore, to continue to enjoy your best wishes and cooperation in this endeavor. Thank you all.
